Prometeo Portero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Tabby, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Prometeo Portero made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Tadeo Olayo sent off a good shot on target. If Ramiro Laurentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Ariel Eskuin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moquehuá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Napenay the free kick. Ariel Eskuin hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute of the match, Uriel Malvin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Prometeo Portero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 45 minutes into the match, Moquehuá's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Azeari came free, but Prometeo Portero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Moquehuá were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saul Pello to make the kick off. If Marcos Azeari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 59 minutes, Marcos Azeari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Napenay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Azeari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Moquehuá's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Malvin came free, but Prometeo Portero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Moquehuá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Aires to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Azeari in the 65th minute of play forced Moquehuá's goalkeeper Prometeo Portero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Moquehuá getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ramiro Laurentzi hit a great ball. Prometeo Portero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Olayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prometeo Portero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Malvin in the 88th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Moquehuá eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
