The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. German Timo was the one to do the kick off. Genaro Lugo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Evaristo Gurutz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 64 minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Anaxágoras reached it. 86 minutes into the match, Cabal's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Balasi came free, but Astor Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Tomás Sauveur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anaxágoras the free kick. In the 87th match minute, Cabal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Sauveur to maneuver through the defense. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cabal! After 95 minutes, Delmar Ireno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anaxágoras and the Cabal players grew even worse after the yellow card.
