But to his dismay, Abel Aznaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Lehior in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Primo saved Arsenal F.C from getting behind. In the 22nd match minute, Arsenal F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Mitxel to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Ivan Lehior got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Godfredo Pedroso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Arsenal F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Moises Montrelle was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ignacio Chan. Moises Montrelle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Incahuasi getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Abel Aznaro hit a great ball. If Geronimo Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Aznaro kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Santos Blasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Blasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moises Montrelle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Incahuasi getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Abel Aznaro hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godfredo Pedroso was the one to do the kick off. Abel Aznaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Moises Montrelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Blasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The Arsenal F.C players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
