Teo Madeo charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Madeo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teo Madeo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolando Ticho during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Franco FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rolando Ticho hit a great ball. If Epifanio Cordearo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanio Cordearo in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartolo Baladi saved Franco FC from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Franco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Cordearo came free, but Bartolo Baladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Eleazar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 31st playminute. Uriel Jakue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 2-2 became the score in the 42nd minute when Uriel Jakue elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Epifanio Cordearo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Epifanio Cordearo made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Albariño's zone, Uriel Jakue stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Barea came out of the goal and Uriel Jakue tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 54 minutes of play, Franco FC's Uriel Jakue made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Barea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adolfo Valentine's late challenge caught a Franco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Valentine helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Albariño! Uriel Jakue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Eleazar struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Manuel Barea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Franco FC. Manuel Barea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Eleazar in the 72nd minute of play. Epifanio Cordearo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Baladi having to interfere. When Reynaldo Gaizkine fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Franco FC's protests and gave Reynaldo Gaizkine a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel Barea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Jakue, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Bernabe Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Eleazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Barea having to interfere. Uriel Jakue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the game, Damian Artal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albariño's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Franco FC the free kick.
