Prometeo Portero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Tabor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Saul Pello made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Ramiro Laurentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Palos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 played minutes Club Atlético Independien got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Hernando. Narciso Silbestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Severiano Benet kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Haroldo Hernando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Aires in the 80th minute of play forced Club Atlético Independien's goalkeeper Mario Palos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Narciso Silbestre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mario Palos. Club Atlético Independien's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narciso Silbestre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 87 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Independien's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Irrintzi came free, but Mario Palos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Pello kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filomeno Irrintzi during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Moquehuá's Filomeno Irrintzi got a free kick in the 95th minute. Club Atlético Independien's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
