Julian Jago started the match with the kick off. Alfonso Mano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Intxixu in the 6th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Fernando Ariando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DEFENSORES DE BELGRANO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alfonso Mano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Ariando in the 19th minute of the match. Gaston Bemabe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luciano Jokin. DEFENSORES DE BELGRANO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Julian Jago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luciano Jokin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Fernando Ariando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 37 minutes, Emiliano Intxixu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DEFENSORES DE BELGRANO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Intxixu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emiliano Intxixu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Julian Jago struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Luciano Jokin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal de Llavallol. Alfonso Mano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Ariando in the 58th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Intxixu got free with Alfonso Mano in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to DEFENSORES DE BELGRANO getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. David Maurin hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, DEFENSORES DE BELGRANO's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Jago came free, but Luciano Jokin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Ariando might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Mano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Ariando ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Ariando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Mano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Intxixu in the 71st minute of play. Fernando Ariando in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfonso Mano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 79th minute, DEFENSORES DE BELGRANO's Fernando Ariando dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Benigno Rioja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Luciano Jokin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Julian Jago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Benigno Rioja had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Jokin. DEFENSORES DE BELGRANO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benigno Rioja was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. DEFENSORES DE BELGRANO walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
