Evelio Bilbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jacobo Odon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hector Aurken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Errolan having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Correo Arg Fc's zone, Jacobo Odon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damaso Austin came out of the goal and Jacobo Odon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute Epifanio Vito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jacobo Odon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Enrique Romelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Errolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeo Errolan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Romelio in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Enrique Romelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damaso Austin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacobo Odon in the 44th minute. If Epifanio Vito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Evelio Bilbo fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Correo Arg Fc's protests and gave Evelio Bilbo a yellow card for diving instead. Evelio Bilbo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hector Aurken made the kick off in the second half. Epifanio Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Austin having to interfere. In the 56thth minute of the game Epifanio Vito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Correo Arg Fc's Damaso Austin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Hector Aurken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Correo Arg Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Aurken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 66th minute, but Tadeo Errolan got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Zapala hanging dry this time. 70 minutes into the game, Correo Arg Fc's Enrique Romelio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tadeo Errolan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Damaso Austin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Vito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 minutes of play, Zapala's Jacobo Odon made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damaso Austin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enrique Romelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Errolan having to interfere. Zapala's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
