Guillermo Fertus came out of the goal and Damaso Maurin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Torres AFC's Tomas Lehoi got a free kick in the 57th minute. Guillermo Fertus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Maurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustacio Min fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Merexildo having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Matias Sandaili notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Torres AFC's Guillermo Fertus. Guillermo Fertus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 70 minutes sofia f.c's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Lehoi who took care of the corner kick. Tomas Lehoi made a great header on Torres AFC's corner, it was just that sofia f.c's Cornelio Merexildo managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Candido Tercero during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Torres AFC's Guillermo Fertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Maurin in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Santos got free with Cornelio Merexildo in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martin Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Cornelio Merexildo made a huge save. Torres AFC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because sofia f.c had won, even though Torres AFC had held more of the ball.
