After 18 played minutes, Chamicó FC's Dionisio Olentzaro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Omar Tximitx came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chamicó FC reached it. Diego Seme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Cipriano Cheche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Javier Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Chamicó FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Fernandes couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Chamicó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Fidencio came free, but Cipriano Cheche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chamicó FC's Cipriano Cheche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Fidencio in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Javier Fernandes made a kick off.
