Spectators: 5673 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Blas Esdras took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Hector Aurken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Pueblo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvestre Pueblo made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Enrique Romelio sent off a good shot on target. If Apolo Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Correo Arg Fc's Damaso Austin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Esdras in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match Tortugas got a corner. Correo Arg Fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leo Guipuzkoa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Teofilo Roldanillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Damaso Austin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfredo Esquipula during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Correo Arg Fc's Wilfredo Esquipula got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Enrique Romelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teofilo Roldanillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Austin having to interfere. Enrique Romelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evelio Bilbo charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evelio Bilbo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Correo Arg Fc got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Bilbo. Blas Esdras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Austin having to interfere. In the 35th minute Apolo Sauveur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tortugas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leo Guipuzkoa in the 36th minute. Leo Guipuzkoa made a great header on Tortugas's corner, it was just that Correo Arg Fc's Damaso Austin managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Correo Arg Fc's goalkeeper Damaso Austin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hector Aurken to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Apolo Sauveur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tortugas and the Correo Arg Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Apolo Sauveur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Romelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Correo Arg Fc booed when Tortugas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Sauveur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Romelio struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Silvestre Pueblo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Correo Arg Fc. The supporters of Correo Arg Fc booed when Tortugas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Urtsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Pueblo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Aurken in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Sauveur in the 62nd minute of play forced Correo Arg Fc's goalkeeper Damaso Austin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Correo Arg Fc's Damaso Austin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Sauveur in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Tortugas getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Apolo Sauveur hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Aurken in the 73rd minute of play forced Tortugas's goalkeeper Silvestre Pueblo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Artaldo took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvestre Pueblo. Silvestre Pueblo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After having played for 79 minutes, Apolo Sauveur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tortugas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apolo Sauveur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apolo Sauveur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Austin having to interfere. Apolo Sauveur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damaso Austin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Apolo Sauveur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, David Remicio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tortugas's Ovidio Perpinya quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Leo Guipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute of the match Amancio Ralondo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvestre Pueblo skillfully saved the ball. Tortugas's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Correo Arg Fc had won, even though Tortugas had held more of the ball.
