Spectators: 7215 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) LOS CHAPLIN's Zeledon Oxel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of LOS CHAPLIN booed when Correo Arg Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Orlondon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Romelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute Enrique Romelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Eneto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Aurken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Justino Eneto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, LOS CHAPLIN's Aaron Leoiar got a free kick in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in LOS CHAPLIN's zone, Enrique Romelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Eneto came out of the goal and Enrique Romelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justino Eneto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Romelio in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, LOS CHAPLIN's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Romelio came free, but Justino Eneto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Romelio in the 30th minute of play forced LOS CHAPLIN's goalkeeper Justino Eneto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, Correo Arg Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Ceandro to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Oxel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damaso Austin having to make a save. Correo Arg Fc's Hector Aurken got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justino Eneto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Aurken in the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, Correo Arg Fc's Hector Aurken made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Justino Eneto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hector Aurken to strike the kick off in the second half. Damaso Austin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Oxel in the 53rd minute of play. Justino Eneto had great luck who in the 58thth minute grab hold of the ball when Hector Aurken from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Enrique Romelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Eneto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Aurken in the 67th minute of play forced LOS CHAPLIN's goalkeeper Justino Eneto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Correo Arg Fc's Damaso Austin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Leoiar in the 74th minute of play. Justino Eneto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Aurken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damaso Austin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Leoiar in the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to Correo Arg Fc getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Adan Orlondon hit a great ball. Zeledon Oxel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Romelio's late challenge caught a LOS CHAPLIN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Romelio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, LOS CHAPLIN's Zeledon Oxel got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Correo Arg Fc supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Correo Arg Fc would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
