After a defensive mix-up in Clan FC's zone, Israel Orlandus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Millan came out of the goal and Israel Orlandus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Israel Orlandus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teofilo Millan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Clan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Haitz to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Israel Orlandus to make the kick off. Severiano Balasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Faustino Pello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Carlomagno got free with Faustino Pello in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Clan FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
