Spectators: 7216 (Terracing: 5413, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arnoldo Haritzeder kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes, Barrancas f.c's Oscar Frances shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jeremias Polo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barrancas f.c reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinicio Abar got free with Sergio Venerando in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Haritzeder in the 9th minute of play forced Barrancas f.c's goalkeeper Sergio Venerando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Carapaligüe got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Francesco. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anacleto Feliu in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremias Polo saved Carapaligüe from getting behind. Anacleto Feliu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Polo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anacleto Feliu in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremias Polo saved Carapaligüe from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Haritzeder in the 27th minute of play forced Barrancas f.c's goalkeeper Sergio Venerando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Felix Oliveiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Anacleto Feliu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Polo having to make a save. After some careless play in the Carapaligüe defense, Alejo Herena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremias Polo. The Carapaligüe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Polo should have stopped the shot. Anacleto Feliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Polo having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Arnoldo Haritzeder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrancas f.c's Sergio Venerando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carapaligüe's Jeremias Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Feliu in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Haritzeder notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Barrancas f.c's Sergio Venerando. Sergio Venerando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeremias Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Feliu in the 62nd minute of the match. Carapaligüe's Vinicio Abar got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Carapaligüe's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Feliu came free, but Jeremias Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Arnoldo Haritzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carapaligüe's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Haritzeder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Venerando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Carapaligüe's Vinicio Abar in 71 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Sergio Venerando guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. If Vinicio Abar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Barrancas f.c got a freekick which was hit by Felix Oliveiro. Sergio Venerando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Abar in the 77th minute of the match. Vinicio Abar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergio Venerando having to make a save. After having played for 83 minutes, Vinicio Abar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carapaligüe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Abar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sergio Venerando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Haritzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejo Herena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jeremias Polo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Vinicio Abar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
