Spectators: 7191 (Terracing: 5395, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) RUSTICO FC's Fabian Belmiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, RUSTICO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Jaunti came free, but Paolo Libertad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ocho Quesos booed when RUSTICO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. RUSTICO FC's Paolo Libertad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Muno in the 6th minute of play. Evelio Jaunti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Inocencio Muno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ocho Quesos's Matias Olivar got control of the ball when Angelo Garci tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matias Olivar came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by RUSTICO FC's Angelo Garci. But to his dismay, Angelo Garci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 20 minutes into the game, Clemente Sindo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ocho Quesos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RUSTICO FC the free kick. In the 21st minute, Clemente Sindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inocencio Muno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matias Olivar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Garci in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ocho Quesos's zone, Fabian Belmiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Olivar came out of the goal and Fabian Belmiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Inocencio Muno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 49 played minutes Ocho Quesos got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Sindo. Ocho Quesos's Matias Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Belmiro in the 52nd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ocho Quesos's goalkeeper Matias Olivar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 61 minutes, Evelio Jaunti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ocho Quesos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evelio Jaunti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evelio Jaunti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ocho Quesos's zone, Fabian Belmiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Olivar came out of the goal and Fabian Belmiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matias Olivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Garci in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of RUSTICO FC booed when Ocho Quesos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Arnoldo Fortun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matias Olivar skillfully saved the ball. In the 89th minute, Guillermo Cordarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnoldo Fortun was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Matias Olivar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Garci went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 98th match minute, Ocho Quesos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Santiago to maneuver through the defense. 99 minutes into the match, Fabian Belmiro notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ocho Quesos's Matias Olivar. Matias Olivar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ocho Quesos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RUSTICO FC.
