Spectators: 7250 (Terracing: 5439, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mariano Xacintu got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Lorenzo Walme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mariano Xacintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Walme notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Carapaligüe's Jeremias Polo. Jeremias Polo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Brokenlee FC's Leonardo Lizar got control of the ball when Vinicio Abar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Xacintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariano Xacintu struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Jeremias Polo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brokenlee FC. Jeremias Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Xacintu in the 20th minute of play. When Arnoldo Haritzeder got free in front of the goal in the 22nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Leonardo Lizar was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Vinicio Abar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesus Cristofor kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Jeremias Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Xacintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Lorenzo Walme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brokenlee FC's Mariano Xacintu got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Walme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Polo having to make a save. Lorenzo Walme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jeremias Polo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Brokenlee FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnoldo Haritzeder was the one to do the kick off. Vinicio Abar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Leonardo Lizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Carapaligüe's Guido Claris got a free kick in the 58th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Brokenlee FC's Camilo Mattin tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mariano Xacintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Polo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Carapaligüe's zone, Lorenzo Walme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Polo came out of the goal and Lorenzo Walme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Mariano Xacintu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Carapaligüe's Jeremias Polo. Jeremias Polo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lorenzo Walme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the game, Raimundo Berriotxoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carapaligüe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brokenlee FC the free kick. In the 85th match minute, Carapaligüe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Berriotxoa to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Lorenzo Walme fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Brokenlee FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
