In the 11thth minute of the game Sixto Lertxun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Charrillos's Faustino Pello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Faustino Pello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Club Atletico Brillanté's Sixto Lertxun got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charrillos's Faustino Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Esdras in the 24th minute of play. Martin Fernandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustino Pello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Teodosio Jerico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Pere having to interfere. Israel Orlandus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ariel Pere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Brillanté's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Orlandus came free, but Ariel Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Fernandes made a kick off. Sixto Lertxun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Pello having to interfere. Israel Orlandus struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Ariel Pere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Charrillos. After a rather tough play, Charrillos's Roque Lopes got a free kick in the 60th minute. Faustino Pello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnulfo Esdras in the 63rd minute. Faustino Pello made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Sixto Lertxun sent off a good shot on target. Sixto Lertxun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Pello having to interfere. Faustino Pello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Fernandes in the 79th minute of play. Faustino Pello came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Brillanté's Sixto Lertxun. But to his dismay, Sixto Lertxun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Omar Tohias was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Teodosio Jerico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ariel Pere. Club Atletico Brillanté's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodosio Jerico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Club Atletico Brillanté were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
