The audience was convinced that Alejo Herena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teofilo Millan was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After 85 played minutes Clan FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Silbestre. In the 94th minute, Severiano Balasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Alejo Herena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrancas f.c's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Herena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofilo Millan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clan FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Barrancas f.c had won, even though Clan FC had held more of the ball.
