Justino Bilbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Dubardo having to interfere. If Justino Bilbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raul Tavio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Dubardo having to interfere. Raul Tavio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Malanzán's Hermengildo Dubardo got control of the ball when Justino Bilbo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Froilan Maraman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gaston Abastas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 31 minutes, Laureano Llorian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malanzán and the LI0NS B4RBARIANS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Malanzán's Laureano Llorian got a free kick in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the game, Epifanio Txatxu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malanzán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LI0NS B4RBARIANS the free kick. Epifanio Txatxu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Alvaro Aritza sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Malanzán's Hermengildo Dubardo didn't even have to move. After having played for 35 minutes, Raul Tavio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LI0NS B4RBARIANS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Tavio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaston Abastas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Froilan Maraman's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Hermengildo Dubardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Tavio, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. LI0NS B4RBARIANS's Gaston Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Egoitz in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristian Egoitz was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Egoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 62 minutes, Justino Bilbo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LI0NS B4RBARIANS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justino Bilbo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Egoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Abastas having to interfere. When Augusto Luken fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malanzán's protests and gave Augusto Luken a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Augusto Luken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Cristian Egoitz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gaston Abastas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Egoitz in the 74th minute of play. LI0NS B4RBARIANS's Gaston Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Egoitz in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Malanzán's goalkeeper Hermengildo Dubardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 82 minutes, Cristian Egoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malanzán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Egoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Cristian Egoitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaston Abastas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 93 minutes into the match, Malanzán's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Tavio came free, but Hermengildo Dubardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Malanzán players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
