Octavio Cordero scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodoro Cambranes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teodoro Cambranes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 22 minutes into the game, Honorio Bixintxo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Teodoro Cambranes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Bariloche defense, Octavio Cordero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodoro Cambranes. The Bariloche fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodoro Cambranes should have stopped the shot. After having played for 31 minutes, Vinicio Erlantz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rafaela LC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Erlantz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodoro Cambranes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Teodoro Cambranes came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Rafaela LC's Octavio Cordero. But to his dismay, Octavio Cordero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Rafaela LC's zone, Clodoveo Macario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Vidal came out of the goal and Clodoveo Macario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Severo Emenon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Rafaela LC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clodoveo Macario to strike the kick off in the second half. Honorio Bixintxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Teodoro Cambranes made a huge save. Honorio Bixintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Teodoro Cambranes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Clodoveo Macario made a precise shot to the right of Ermegildo Vidal. Rafaela LC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Clodoveo Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Bariloche booed when Rafaela LC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafaela LC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
