Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) Riachuelo's Angelino Quintin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Maximiliano Adrio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moonchester FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Adrio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andres Illart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 7 played minutes Riachuelo got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Lalla. Maximiliano Adrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roman Belo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Celedonio Filipo made a huge save. Eleuterio Elivareo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The supporters of Moonchester FC booed when Riachuelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Belo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Vimaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Illart having to interfere. Maximiliano Adrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andres Illart didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genaro Fidencio went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Andres Illart stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Vimaro's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After 43 minutes, Miguel Vimaro made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Riachuelo's Andres Illart tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Riachuelo getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Roman Belo hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Vimaro made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Miguel Vimaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moonchester FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Vimaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andres Illart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the game, Luciano Otsoko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riachuelo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moonchester FC the free kick. After 59 played minutes Riachuelo got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Otsoko. After recieving a nice pass, Moonchester FC's Genaro Fidencio tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Raimundo Eladio charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raimundo Eladio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Miguel Vimaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Illart having to interfere. Andres Illart came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Moonchester FC's Miguel Vimaro. But to his dismay, Miguel Vimaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 75th play minutes Maximiliano Adrio shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Andres Illart and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Moonchester FC's Maximiliano Adrio got a free kick in the 81st minute. Celedonio Filipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Belo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Vimaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Miguel Vimaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Riachuelo defense, Miguel Vimaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andres Illart. The Riachuelo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andres Illart should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Miguel Vimaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moonchester FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Vimaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andres Illart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 94 minutes of play Riachuelo's Raimundo Eladio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Riachuelo's Raimundo Eladio got a free kick in the 95th minute.
