When Osvaldo Rey came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Internacional De Munro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Rey couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Internacional De Munro booed when Ancóm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Vito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Mancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Olando having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Ancóm's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Rey came free, but Humberto Olando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Rafael Mancio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Olando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Olando came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Internacional De Munro's Rafael Mancio. But to his dismay, Rafael Mancio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Osvaldo Rey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Internacional De Munro booed when Ancóm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Jokin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Internacional De Munro's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mario Jokin 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. 31 minutes into the game, Internacional De Munro's Osvaldo Rey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humberto Olando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Artemio Txema acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Atilano Ekain. Apolo Paublo came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Artemio Txema could save by the left post. Humberto Olando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Mancio in the 45th minute of the match. Osvaldo Rey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Humberto Olando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 49th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Mancio was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Paublo in the 53rd minute of play forced Internacional De Munro's goalkeeper Artemio Txema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artemio Txema showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Felo in the 56th minute of the match. If Apolo Paublo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Internacional De Munro's zone, Apolo Paublo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artemio Txema came out of the goal and Apolo Paublo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artemio Txema showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Jokin in the 66th minute of the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Fermin Felo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ancóm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Felo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Ancóm's goalkeeper Humberto Olando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Rey. 80 minutes into the match, Internacional De Munro's Rafael Mancio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Humberto Olando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 86 minutes, Apolo Paublo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
