Burzaco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tabay the free kick. After a rather tough play, Burzaco FC's Arnoldo Polo got a free kick in the 21st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Tabay's Alejo Abechuco tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Burzaco FC's Honorio Chayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Burzaco FC from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the match, Gilberto Sindo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Breogan. Tabay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Sindo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Burzaco FC's Generoso Roland got a free kick in the 36th minute. Eulalio Gervaso hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Arnoldo Polo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Alejo Abechuco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Gagriel in the 45th minute of play forced Burzaco FC's goalkeeper Honorio Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Burzaco FC's zone, Fulgencio Gagriel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Chayo came out of the goal and Fulgencio Gagriel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Sindo was the one to do the kick off. Fulgencio Gagriel took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorio Chayo. Honorio Chayo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 69th minute Ambrosio Ubelteso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Polo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ambrosio Ubelteso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Burzaco FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Froilan George in the 77th minute. If Ambrosio Ubelteso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes of play, Burzaco FC's Ermegildo Goi made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Breogan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ermegildo Goi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Breogan having to interfere. Ambrosio Ubelteso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 played minutes Burzaco FC got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Roland. Fulgencio Gagriel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th match minute, Burzaco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Roland to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tabay had won after a very even match.
