In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anga FC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Telmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Edelmiro Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pascual Maureo fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gacela FC's protests and gave Pascual Maureo a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Gacela FC got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Maureo. A collision led to Gacela FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Aureliano Vargas hit a great ball. Edelmiro Florinio charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edelmiro Florinio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Anga FC booed when Gacela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Florinio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomero Nel hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Hipolito Loiola, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 27th minute, Pascual Maureo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gacela FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Pascual Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Ireno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constantino Boniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvaro Pirmin during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Anga FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Pirmin. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Eusebio Macario kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Constantino Boniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Palben saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Boniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Palben having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Ireno got free with Jose Palben in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edelmiro Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ciriaco Telmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Palben made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Isidoro Ireno sent off a good shot on target. Pascual Maureo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Constantino Boniel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Boniel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Palben breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Anga FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gacela FC.
