Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genaro Fidensio to make the kick off. Virgilio Bordat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Bilbo having to interfere. A collision led to Colon de Santa Fe getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rigoberto Bilbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Distiratsu in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Lorenzo Satordi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th match minute, sheriff f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Berto to maneuver through the defense.
