The referee showed Alejo Elia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, C.S.D. MAFALDA's Alejo Elia got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Honorio Sidro took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Sabino. Adrian Sabino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Adrian Sabino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Sidro went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Augusto Bero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Orlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Pedro Teyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Augusto Bero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.S.D. MAFALDA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Honorio Sidro took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Sabino. Adrian Sabino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Mauro Domiku hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, F.C. Cophenague's goalkeeper Pedro Teyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Bero. Pedro Teyo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Quentin in the 44th minute. Augusto Bero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorio Sidro to make the kick off. Alberto Telo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Mauro Domiku was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Cophenague's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.S.D. MAFALDA the free kick. The supporters of F.C. Cophenague booed when C.S.D. MAFALDA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Quentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Sabino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Sidro in the 67th minute of the match. C.S.D. MAFALDA's Fabio Orlan got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, F.C. Cophenague's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Bero came free, but Pedro Teyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Claudio Opilano came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the C.S.D. MAFALDA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Opilano couldn't finish the play. Pedro Teyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Orlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquilino Polo's late challenge caught a C.S.D. MAFALDA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquilino Polo helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes F.C. Cophenague got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Polo. After having played for 95 minutes, Augusto Bero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.S.D. MAFALDA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Bero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
