C.A.B.J's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Weekend FC the free kick. In the 5th minute, Vicente Naldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Atilano Tancredo sped through C.A.B.J's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Everardo Gabino. After a defensive mix-up in Weekend FC's zone, Enrique Ibar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Ulizes came out of the goal and Enrique Ibar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Ibar in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulises Ulizes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vicente Naldo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A.B.J's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adolfo Pacorro was slow to take the kick. During this time Weekend FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Adolfo Pacorro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Everardo Gabino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Salvador Presebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Ibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ulises Ulizes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ignacio Pinto fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Weekend FC's protests and gave Ignacio Pinto a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Weekend FC's Ignacio Pinto got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 28th match minute, Weekend FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Pinto to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Weekend FC booed when C.A.B.J was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Ekialde didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.B.J's zone, Atilano Tancredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Gabino came out of the goal and Atilano Tancredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atilano Tancredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Everardo Gabino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everardo Gabino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Tancredo in the 43rd minute of the match. Enrique Ibar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Ibar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Salvador Presebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Gabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everardo Gabino made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Atilano Tancredo sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Salvador Presebal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Everardo Gabino was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 65 minutes into the match, Weekend FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Ibar came free, but Ulises Ulizes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Presebal in the 69th minute of play forced C.A.B.J's goalkeeper Everardo Gabino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Salvador Presebal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weekend FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Presebal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Gabino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, Weekend FC's Salvador Presebal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Everardo Gabino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Atilano Tancredo struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Everardo Gabino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weekend FC. Alvaro Moise took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulises Ulizes. Ulises Ulizes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 89 played minutes C.A.B.J got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Abascal. Everardo Gabino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Presebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Weekend FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
