Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlos Loren kicked off to start the match. When Potrerillos's Hilario Tartalo in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Machigasta AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 11 minutes, Leonides Socorro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Machigasta AFC and the Potrerillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Potrerillos booed when Machigasta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Socorro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardino Servando, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 13 minutes, Rafael Socorro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Machigasta AFC and the Potrerillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Machigasta AFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rafael Socorro hit a great ball. After 21 minutes of play Machigasta AFC's Leonides Socorro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 22nd match minute, Machigasta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Socorro to maneuver through the defense. If Ariel Saturnin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Carlos Loren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Machigasta AFC's Victor Arias got control of the ball when Teodosio Osoro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Loren kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Hilario Tartalo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Arias was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, Potrerillos's Silvano Benvido got a free kick in the 34th minute. Teodosio Osoro might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Arias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodosio Osoro ran back to his position shaking his head. Potrerillos's Hilario Tartalo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ariel Saturnin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hilario Tartalo to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ariel Saturnin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Machigasta AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Saturnin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Quin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ariel Saturnin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Quin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Saturnin in the 64th minute. Rafael Socorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariel Saturnin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonas Quin came out and tried to block the shot, but Ariel Saturnin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 68th minute. Victor Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Tartalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 80th minute, Hilario Tartalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Loren hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Potrerillos's Teodosio Osoro got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hilario Tartalo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Arias having to make a save. After some careless play in the Machigasta AFC defense, Teodosio Osoro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Arias. The Machigasta AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Arias should have stopped the shot. Potrerillos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
