The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Harman got free with Victor Arias in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filip Harman took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Arias. Victor Arias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Machigasta AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Isidoro Haritz 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Yacuchirí AFC's Filip Harman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victor Arias. That made the score 3-0 after 18 minutes of play. The audience held their breath when Gabriel Barea in the 24th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ernesto Gaitan's left hand side. In the 29th minute, Anacleto Ihintza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Machigasta AFC's Victor Arias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Machigasta AFC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Harman got free with Victor Arias in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the game, Filip Harman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Victor Arias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Machigasta AFC's Victor Arias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Machigasta AFC from getting a goal against them. 48 minutes into the match, Yacuchirí AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Socorro came free, but Ernesto Gaitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Carlos Loren made the kick off in the second half. Victor Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Harman, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Isidoro Bernaldo put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Machigasta AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yacuchirí AFC:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in Machigasta AFC's zone, Dante Gonza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Arias came out of the goal and Dante Gonza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Haritz in the 74th minute of play forced Machigasta AFC's goalkeeper Victor Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Arias came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Yacuchirí AFC's Filip Harman. But to his dismay, Filip Harman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Victor Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Harman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Machigasta AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
