Remigio Giraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Tartalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Estebe hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Remigio Erauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Tartalo in the 15th minute of play forced El ciclon Gambito's goalkeeper Remigio Giraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Osoro in the 23rd minute of play forced El ciclon Gambito's goalkeeper Remigio Giraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigio Giraldo came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Potrerillos's Hilario Tartalo. But to his dismay, Hilario Tartalo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Osoro in the 29th minute of play forced El ciclon Gambito's goalkeeper Remigio Giraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in El ciclon Gambito's zone, Hilario Tartalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Giraldo came out of the goal and Hilario Tartalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Senen in the 34th minute of play forced Potrerillos's goalkeeper Jonas Quin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Potrerillos got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Machado. After 42 minutes of play, Potrerillos's Teodosio Osoro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigio Giraldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 48 minutes into the match, Potrerillos's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Senen came free, but Jonas Quin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The El ciclon Gambito players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Potrerillos were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hilario Tartalo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Hilario Tartalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Giraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in El ciclon Gambito's zone, Teodosio Osoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 60th minute, El ciclon Gambito's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hilario Tartalo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Teodosio Osoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Remigio Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidro Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Pedro Castulo put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jonas Quin. After having played for 69 minutes, Pedro Castulo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El ciclon Gambito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Castulo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute Hilario Tartalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Giraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute of the match Nemesio Larra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Remigio Giraldo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Teodosio Osoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Giraldo having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Hilario Tartalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrerillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilario Tartalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Potrerillos's Aristides Azubeli suffered a sore thigh after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ricardo Estebe's late challenge caught a Potrerillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Estebe helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to El ciclon Gambito getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ricardo Estebe hit a great ball. Teodosio Osoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Remigio Giraldo made a huge save. Nemesio Larra kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, El ciclon Gambito's Remigio Erauso tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
