Spectators: 7179 (Terracing: 5386, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) 6 minutes into the match, Shelby FC's goalkeeper Krister Forssell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delmiro Salvadore. In the 8thth minute of the game Arnaldo Vincente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shelby FC's Krister Forssell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 12 minutes, Rosendo Berriotxoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chucuma and the Shelby FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alejandro Ixaka was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gabriel Librado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Genaro Etxatxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Chucuma's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Etxatxu came free, but Ivan Birila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmiro Salvadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Arnaldo Vincente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Krister Forssell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Vincente in the 40th minute of play. Krister Forssell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Vincente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Genaro Etxatxu made the kick off in the second half. Krister Forssell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Salvadore in the 55th minute of the match. Ivan Birila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Etxatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Montae hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chucuma's zone, Gabriel Librado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Birila came out of the goal and Gabriel Librado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genaro Etxatxu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ivan Birila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Etxatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Delmiro Salvadore might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Krister Forssell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Salvadore ran back to his position shaking his head. Delmiro Salvadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Gabriel Librado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shelby FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Librado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Birila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivan Birila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Etxatxu in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Justo Rodas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute Chucuma were awarded a corner. Nicanor Stanislao went to the cornerflag to take it. Chucuma's Nicanor Stanislao was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Krister Forssell in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gabriel Librado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Ivan Birila when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gabriel Librado had several of the Chucuma's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 96 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Ivan Birila as he didn't even see the shot coming. The Shelby FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Shelby FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
