In the 14th minute, Genaro Etxatxu made a precise shot to the right of Evelio Cambranes. Los Piratas de Alberdi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 23 played minutes Shelby FC got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Bixintxo. After a rather tough play, Shelby FC's Alejandro Ixaka got a free kick in the 26th minute. Venancio Atarratze scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Krister Forssell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Sarracino got free with Krister Forssell in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Genaro Etxatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Evelio Cambranes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Los Piratas de Alberdi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Taurino to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Librado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Cambranes having to interfere.

Evelio Cambranes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Bixintxo in the 52nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Gabriel Librado sped through Los Piratas de Alberdi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evelio Cambranes. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Shelby FC's goalkeeper Krister Forssell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Gabriel Librado came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Shelby FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Librado couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Sarracino in the 69th minute of play forced Shelby FC's goalkeeper Krister Forssell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldo Sarracino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Krister Forssell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Los Piratas de Alberdi's Osvaldo Sarracino got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Gabriel Librado notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Los Piratas de Alberdi's Evelio Cambranes. Evelio Cambranes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Shelby FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ciro Salomon hit a great ball. Osvaldo Sarracino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Krister Forssell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evelio Cambranes made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Justo Rodas sent off a good shot on target.
