When Diego Mambru fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AmBiEnTeRo F.C.'s protests and gave Diego Mambru a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Diego Mambru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldo Sarracino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amado Maria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Maria in the 57th minute of play forced Los Piratas de Alberdi's goalkeeper Evelio Cambranes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evelio Cambranes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Sustrai in the 61st minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Denis Iraitz put in a rough tackle. Evelio Cambranes had in the 66thth minute some difficulties stopping Tadeo Ugaitz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 67th minute of the match AmBiEnTeRo F.C. got a corner. Los Piratas de Alberdi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tadeo Ugaitz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Tadeo Ugaitz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Evelio Cambranes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 74th minute, Hilario Sustrai made a precise shot to the right of Evelio Cambranes. Los Piratas de Alberdi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Piratas de Alberdi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! The supporters of AmBiEnTeRo F.C. booed when Los Piratas de Alberdi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Nafarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amado Maria struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Evelio Cambranes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AmBiEnTeRo F.C.. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Hilario Sustrai put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Evelio Cambranes. With a little luck, AmBiEnTeRo F.C.'s Hernan Jakes got control of the ball when Osvaldo Sarracino tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Los Piratas de Alberdi's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Sustrai came free, but Evelio Cambranes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the AmBiEnTeRo F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
