Spectators: 7218 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hernan Fiz kicked off to start the match. Gaston Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Txatxu in the 6th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Macacha got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Fiz. Jonathan Olentzaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Abarca having to interfere. When Orlando Txatxu came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Achirense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Txatxu couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Olentzaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gaston Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Txatxu in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Macacha's Bonifacio Eneto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lázaro Transito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Orlando Txatxu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaston Abarca. That made the score 1-1 in the 27 minute of play. Cecilio Veremundo lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Macacha:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Achirense FC:s goal. 35 minutes into the match, Macacha's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Txatxu came free, but Gaston Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fulgencio Rojelio fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Macacha's protests and gave Fulgencio Rojelio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Macacha getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Fulgencio Rojelio hit a great ball. Gaston Abarca made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Jonathan Olentzaro sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the match, Macacha's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Egun came free, but Gaston Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Achirense FC's Hilario Curcio got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Orlando Txatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlando Txatxu made a kick off. Orlando Txatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gaston Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achirense FC's Orlando Txatxu got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute of the match Achirense FC got a corner. Macacha's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guillermo Egun ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Achirense FC's Guillermo Egun to fire away a dangerous shot which Gaston Abarca despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Macacha's Leopoldo Gaztea got a free kick in the 68th minute. Gaston Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Olentzaro in the 72nd minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, Achirense FC's Hilario Curcio made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaston Abarca was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89thth minute of the game Jonathan Olentzaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macacha's Gaston Abarca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bonifacio Eneto got free with Lázaro Transito in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
