The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmiro Lonzo got free with Raul Eliu in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teo Lano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Astrada, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Gonzalo Astrada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Teo Lano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gonzalo Astrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toque Roque's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzalo Astrada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 41st minute, Delmiro Lonzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teo Lano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Astrada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogelio Quin to make the kick off. Peralta played a much better game than Toque Roque and deserved their victory. The Toque Roque players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
