Lázaro Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Orlando Txatxu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabricio Hartz. Tacupampa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Txatxu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lázaro Transito made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Everardo Dubardo sent off a good shot on target. If Orlando Txatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 played minutes, Achirense FC's Salvador Gerazan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabricio Hartz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Achirense FC reached it. After 31 minutes of play, Achirense FC's Jonathan Olentzaro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabricio Hartz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Olentzaro scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabricio Hartz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucio Patrido during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tacupampa booed when Achirense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Patrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Esteban Abalos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacupampa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Abalos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When Hilario Curcio came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Achirense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hilario Curcio couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Orlando Txatxu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 69 minutes into the match, Esteban Abalos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lázaro Transito. Achirense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteban Abalos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Lázaro Transito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Montxo in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Tomas Ramirez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Achirense FC's zone, Leonel Eli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Transito came out of the goal and Leonel Eli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the game, Achirense FC's Jonathan Olentzaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabricio Hartz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. 89 minutes into the match, Esteban Abalos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lázaro Transito. Achirense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteban Abalos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 95th minute, Jonathan Olentzaro made a precise shot to the right of Fabricio Hartz. Tacupampa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Achirense FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
