Damaso Fonso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabricio Hartz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Eleuterio Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eleuterio Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Moreno FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Eleuterio Arce hit a great ball. Justo Mano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Abalos in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10thth minute of the game Esteban Abalos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moreno FC's Justo Mano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moreno FC's Justo Mano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Abalos in the 35th minute of play. When Ruperto Licerio came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Tacupampa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Licerio couldn't finish the play. Tacupampa's Esteban Abalos got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Esteban Abalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damaso Fonso to make the kick off. Esteban Abalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 53rd minute, Ruperto Licerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruperto Licerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Justo Mano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Abalos in the 56th minute of play forced Moreno FC's goalkeeper Justo Mano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Tacupampa's Ruperto Licerio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justo Mano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Licerio got free with Justo Mano in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruperto Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Mano having to interfere. Esteban Abalos struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Justo Mano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tacupampa. Esteban Abalos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Mano having to interfere. Ruperto Licerios short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Justo Mano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Moreno FC's Justo Mano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Moreno FC from getting a goal against them. Esteban Abalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Justo Mano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tacupampa were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
