Spectators: 7020 (Terracing: 5520, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marco Gumaro took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Candido Jakobe fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tandil FC's protests and gave Candido Jakobe a yellow card for diving instead. Gervasio Pedroso charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gervasio Pedroso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gervasio Pedroso kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Arnoldo Dalmai's shot from long distance in the 14th minute was not bad at all, but Tandil FC's Teofilo Gonsalvo knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celso Rufio got free with Teofilo Gonsalvo in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Fabricio Bonadona got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 31st minute, Marco Gumaro made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Naike. Chovet FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Fabricio Bonadona came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Chovet FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Bonadona couldn't finish the play. Joel Cordeiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teofilo Gonsalvo came out and tried to block the shot, but Joel Cordeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 38th minute. Melquiades Lastur kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Tandil FC defense, Celso Rufio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teofilo Gonsalvo. The Tandil FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teofilo Gonsalvo should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celso Rufio made a kick off. Celso Rufio might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teofilo Gonsalvo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celso Rufio ran back to his position shaking his head. Teofilo Gonsalvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Rufio in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match Valentin Garcia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Naike showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Santo Abecia hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 62 played minutes, Chovet FC's Abelardo Figueroa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teofilo Gonsalvo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chovet FC reached it. A collision led to Tandil FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jonatan Mantzio hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Chovet FC's Gervasio Pedroso got a free kick in the 68th minute. Teofilo Gonsalvo came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chovet FC's Celso Rufio. But to his dismay, Celso Rufio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Hugo Naike showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Gumaro in the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Joel Cordeiro notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Tandil FC's Teofilo Gonsalvo. Teofilo Gonsalvo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 84 minutes into the match, Tandil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Rufio came free, but Teofilo Gonsalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joel Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Tandil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Bonadona came free, but Teofilo Gonsalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Rufio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Teofilo Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Rufio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chovet FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
