With a little luck, Virreyes's David Polo got control of the ball when Nunez Leocadio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Nunez Leocadio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Virreyes's David Polo. David Polo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nunez Leocadio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Polo having to make a save. Inocencio Ikatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Oihenarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, Genaro Gaufred was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Virreyes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diadema the free kick. 48 minutes into the match, Diadema's Nunez Leocadio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Polo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Sergio Oihenarte made the kick off in the second half. Inocencio Ikatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Oihenarte in the 55th minute of the match. After 55 played minutes Diadema got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Cordarius. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Leocadio in the 59th minute of play forced Virreyes's goalkeeper David Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Sergio Oihenarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diadema's Inocencio Ikatz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Rojelio in the 63rd minute of the match. Diadema's Nunez Leocadio got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Leocadio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Diadema getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Esteban Cordarius hit a great ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Sergio Oihenarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Virreyes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Oihenarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sergio Oihenarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sixto Mitxaut's late challenge caught a Virreyes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sixto Mitxaut helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Diadema's Sixto Mitxaut got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Haroldo Beremundo might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Inocencio Ikatz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haroldo Beremundo ran back to his position shaking his head. Haroldo Beremundo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Inocencio Ikatz made a huge save. Diadema were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Virreyes for a fine match.
