Santo Abecia helped the player get up and apologised. 14 minutes into the game, one of Tandil FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Racing Club. Teofilo Padro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Teofilo Gonsalvo. 0-1. Prudencio Blanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Gumaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melquiades Lastur got free with Prudencio Blanco in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teo Kismi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Tandil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Quinten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guido Quinten hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Wilfredo Iyan kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Raulo in the 55th minute of play forced Tandil FC's goalkeeper Teofilo Gonsalvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Marco Gumaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prudencio Blanco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Racing Club's Ramiro Raulo got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tandil FC's Teofilo Gonsalvo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Raulo in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Wilfredo Iyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melquiades Lastur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Tandil FC's zone, Teo Kismi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Gonsalvo came out of the goal and Teo Kismi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tandil FC's Teofilo Gonsalvo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Raulo in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tandil FC's Guido Quinten got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Ramiro Raulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teo Kismi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Teofilo Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Txaran to maneuver through the defense. Racing Club's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Tandil FC had won, even though Racing Club had held more of the ball.
