The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, C.A .Boca juniors's Baldomero Romo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Pacho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ruben Gaxan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Pacho having to interfere. A collision led to Jasimaná getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Paulo Ricart hit a great ball. Emilio Pacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Gaxan, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After some careless play in the Jasimaná defense, Ruben Gaxan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emilio Pacho. The Jasimaná fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilio Pacho should have stopped the shot. Hipolito Bonifaco hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Ruben Gaxan succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. C.A .Boca juniors's Benito Reyes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save C.A .Boca juniors from getting a goal against them. Dalmacio Urtats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 minutes, Zeledon Librado made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. C.A .Boca juniors's Benito Reyes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd minute, Paulo Ricart had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 43 minutes into the game, Mariano Sergi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jasimaná's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeledon Librado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Reyes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Benito Reyes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 55 minutes into the match, Dalmacio Urtats notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of C.A .Boca juniors's Benito Reyes. Benito Reyes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th minute, Dalmacio Urtats left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jasimaná fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Ruben Gaxan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Pacho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Zeledon Librado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Reyes having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, C.A .Boca juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Librado came free, but Benito Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hipolito Bonifaco charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hipolito Bonifaco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hipolito Bonifaco kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Emilio Pacho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruben Gaxan's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Benito Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Urtats, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, C.A .Boca juniors's Mariano Sergi got a free kick in the 78th minute. Benito Reyes came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Jasimaná's Zeledon Librado. But to his dismay, Zeledon Librado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. In the 84th minute Zeledon Librado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dalmacio Urtats came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Jasimaná fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Urtats couldn't finish the play. Zeledon Librado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hipolito Bonifaco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Reyes having to interfere. C.A .Boca juniors's Benito Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Librado in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Iker Lleir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Jasimaná fully deserved thier win.
