Spectators: 6005 (Terracing: 4501, Seating: 1502, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dalmacio Urtats started the match with the kick off. Dalmacio Urtats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Nabar having to interfere. Rogelio Nabar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Librado in the 6th minute of play. After having played for 7 minutes, Dalmacio Urtats managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jasimaná's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Urtats was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 10 minutes, Dalmacio Urtats mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jasimaná and the DEPORTIVO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Honorato Lano scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Pacho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Honorato Lano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilio Pacho having to make a save. Iker Lleir charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iker Lleir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Iker Lleir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the match Paulino Iraunkor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilio Pacho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carolo Herena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Pacho having to interfere. Zeledon Librado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rogelio Nabar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Zeledon Librado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dalmacio Urtats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Nabar having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Zeledon Librado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 42nd minute Dalmacio Urtats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Nabar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Jasimaná getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Hernan Ieltxu hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Dalmacio Urtats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DEPORTIVO's Rogelio Nabar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save DEPORTIVO from getting a goal against them. Jasimaná's Zeledon Librado got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Dalmacio Urtats got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jasimaná's Dalmacio Urtats in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DEPORTIVO's goalie prevented a goal. Zeledon Librados short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Rogelio Nabar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. DEPORTIVO's Rogelio Nabar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save DEPORTIVO from getting a goal against them. When Dalmacio Urtats came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Jasimaná fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Urtats couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Dalmacio Urtats put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rogelio Nabar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dalmacio Urtats in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Nabar saved DEPORTIVO from getting behind. Dalmacio Urtats recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeledon Librado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogelio Nabar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Urtats in the 93rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in DEPORTIVO's zone, Iker Lleir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Nabar came out of the goal and Iker Lleir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honorato Lano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Pacho having to interfere.
