Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dalmacio Urtats kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeledon Librado in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prudencio Blanco saved Racing Club from getting behind. Ramiro Raulo scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Pacho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zeledon Librado struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Prudencio Blanco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jasimaná. Dalmacio Urtats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Racing Club's Prudencio Blanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Urtats in the 19th minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Zeledon Librado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jasimaná's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Librado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zeledon Librado struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Prudencio Blanco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jasimaná. When Jasimaná's Dalmacio Urtats in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Racing Club's goalie prevented a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Jasimaná's Dalmacio Urtats sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prudencio Blanco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmacio Urtats in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prudencio Blanco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ramiro Raulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Pacho having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Jasimaná's Zeledon Librado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prudencio Blanco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Dalmacio Urtats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Blanco having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Paulo Ricart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Ramiro Raulo made the kick off in the second half. Hipolito Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Prudencio Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Racing Club defense, Dalmacio Urtats kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prudencio Blanco. The Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prudencio Blanco should have stopped the shot. When Dalmacio Urtats came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Jasimaná fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Urtats couldn't finish the play. If Zeledon Librado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramiro Raulo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emilio Pacho. That made the score 2-2 in the 68 minute of play. A collision led to Jasimaná getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Hipolito Bonifaco hit a great ball. Zeledon Librado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Blanco having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Jasimaná's Arnaldo Servando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prudencio Blanco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dalmacio Urtats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Blanco having to interfere. Zeledon Librado took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Prudencio Blanco. Prudencio Blanco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. With a little luck, Jasimaná's Emilio Pacho got control of the ball when Teo Kismi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jasimaná's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
