Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dalmacio Urtats started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Emilio Pacho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haroldo Beremundo went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Zeledon Librado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. David Polo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Librado took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Polo. David Polo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Zeledon Librado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Polo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dalmacio Urtats's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Urtats in the 27th minute of play forced Virreyes's goalkeeper David Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Efrain Vasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Beremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Emilio Pacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Jasimaná's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Oihenarte came free, but Emilio Pacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Ieltxu's late challenge caught a Virreyes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernan Ieltxu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Jasimaná's Hernan Ieltxu got a free kick in the 39th minute. 44 minutes into the game, Jasimaná's Zeledon Librado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Polo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Zeledon Librado came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Jasimaná fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Librado couldn't finish the play. Hernan Ieltxu got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Jasimaná getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Hernan Ieltxu hit a great ball. In the 55th minute of the match Jonathan Ipar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilio Pacho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Virreyes's David Polo got control of the ball when Zeledon Librado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zeledon Librado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Polo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Zeledon Librado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. David Polo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Virreyes's goalkeeper David Polo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 65 minutes, Zeledon Librado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jasimaná's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Librado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, Paulo Ricart reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Polo. The goal made the score 1-3. Zeledon Librado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of David Polo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Virreyes's David Polo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Virreyes from getting a goal against them. Zeledon Librado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but David Polo made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Virreyes's zone, Zeledon Librado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Polo came out of the goal and Zeledon Librado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iker Lleir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Polo having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Sergio Oihenarte made a precise shot to the right of Emilio Pacho. Jasimaná's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Jasimaná's Emilio Pacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Oihenarte in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute Sergio Oihenarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Pacho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jasimaná's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
