The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 10th match minute, Islandia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Lucian to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Sal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Nahia having to interfere. Carolo Nahia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Sal's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Club A. Independiente's Modesto Totakoxe got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Islandia's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Totakoxe came free, but Carolo Nahia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carolo Nahia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Totakoxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 28 minutes, Israel Valiente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Islandia and the Club A. Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. Israel Valiente kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Elpidio Gonza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristo Sagrario hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the game, Hector Quinton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Americo Cutberto. Hector Quinton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Americo Cutberto made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Elpidio Gonza sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 49th minute by Elpidio Gonza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramiro Sal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Club A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Laurentzi to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Islandia's Silvano Calixto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Americo Cutberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hector Quinton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Quinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Islandia's zone, Modesto Totakoxe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Nahia came out of the goal and Modesto Totakoxe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Modesto Totakoxe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club A. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Totakoxe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carolo Nahia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute Elpidio Gonza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Amado Lon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club A. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Islandia the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club A. Independiente's Amado Lon got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 80 minutes of play, Islandia's Elpidio Gonza made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Americo Cutberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! 84 minutes into the game, Hector Quinton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Americo Cutberto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristo Sagrario hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club A. Independiente players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Islandia.
