Club A. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Hornos FC the free kick. A collision led to Club A. Independiente getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Amado Lon hit a great ball. Ernesto Gabino, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Los Hornos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Sal came free, but Alfonso Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Sal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Marquez having to interfere. Alfonso Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Sal, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Ramiro Sal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Hornos FC's Alfonso Marquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvio Teyo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Ramiro Sal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anier Arotza hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anier Arotza to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Club A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Arotza came free, but Americo Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristo Sagrario's late challenge caught a Los Hornos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristo Sagrario helped the player get up and apologised. Cristo Sagrario kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club A. Independiente's zone, Dionisio Peyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Cutberto came out of the goal and Dionisio Peyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 62 minutes, Silvestre Cutberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Hornos FC and the Club A. Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Los Hornos FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Silvestre Cutberto hit a great ball. Club A. Independiente's Americo Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Peyo in the 65th minute of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ramiro Sal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Hornos FC's Alfonso Marquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Silvio Teyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Hornos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club A. Independiente the free kick. In the 74th match minute, Los Hornos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Cutberto to maneuver through the defense. If Modesto Totakoxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Modesto Totakoxe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Marquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. If Dionisio Peyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anier Arotza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Americo Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Ramiro Sal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club A. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Sal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Club A. Independiente players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Los Hornos FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
