Cipriano Afonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dalmacio Blasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Placido Behe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Mateus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Narciso Deunoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 played minutes Chacarita got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Deunoro. Placido Behe acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ignacio Dimas. When Jacinto Mateus fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piratas de la Redonda's protests and gave Jacinto Mateus a yellow card for diving instead. If Fabio Incendio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Hermelando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmacio Blasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Afonso having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Piratas de la Redonda's zone, Benicio Normando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Afonso came out of the goal and Benicio Normando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Jeremias Hermelando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leo Jacob's late challenge caught a Piratas de la Redonda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Jacob helped the player get up and apologised. 62 minutes into the match, Chacarita's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Hermelando came free, but Placido Behe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the match Piratas de la Redonda got a corner. Chacarita's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ignacio Dimas ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Jacinto Mateus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Behe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Hermelando's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Salvador Derwin's late challenge caught a Piratas de la Redonda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Derwin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Chacarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Derwin to maneuver through the defense. Placido Behe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Hermelando in the 77th minute of play. During the 80th minute of the match Jacinto Mateus completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jacinto Mateus a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 84 played minutes, Chacarita's Maximiliano Beltza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cipriano Afonso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chacarita reached it. After a rather tough play, Piratas de la Redonda's Cecilio Iigo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Cipriano Afonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Blasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabio Incendio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Afonso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Jeremias Hermelando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Placido Behe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
