Gervasio Pacifico helped the player get up and apologised. 45 minutes into the game, one of Alpachiri:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 48 minutes, Nagoya Grampus Eight's Denis Ibon got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Christian Gaskon. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ildefonso Janpier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alpachiri's Christian Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Locaio in the 84th minute of play. Ildefonso Janpier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ildefonso Janpier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Marcial Checa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Although Nagoya Grampus Eight had been in control for most of the match, Alpachiri still came away with the win.
