Benjamin Nastasio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Quin, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Severino Karmel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremias Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Cordarrel in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Miguel Firmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Nithungam F.C.'s Nicolas Conrao tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Nithungam F.C. booed when El Depor F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Che didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidro Quin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Benjamin Nastasio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Cordarrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Horado having to interfere. Isidro Quin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Benjamin Nastasio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Moises Lertxun made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Nastasio. Nithungam F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nithungam F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicolas Conrao in the 53rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Nicolas Conrao got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jeremias Horado quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 54 minutes, Moises Lertxun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Depor F. C. and the Nithungam F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. 55 minutes into the match, Severino Karmel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Horado. El Depor F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severino Karmel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jeremias Horado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Karmel's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. The audience was convinced that Severino Karmel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremias Horado was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 66th minute Severino Karmel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Moises Lertxun put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Benjamin Nastasio. 72 minutes into the match, Nithungam F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Quin came free, but Benjamin Nastasio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
