If Ignacio Otsoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miranda's Haroldo Pacifico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Miranda from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Eusebio Reno sped through Miranda's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Haroldo Pacifico. In the 15th minute, Eusebio Reno made a precise shot to the right of Haroldo Pacifico. Miranda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 18th minute, Ignacio Otsoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 played minutes Independiente Rivadavia got a freekick which was hit by Albino Dominix. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Independiente Rivadavia's goalkeeper Gustavo Liher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Ignacio Otsoa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Haroldo Pacifico. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 34th minute, Emilio Quinteros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Vicente Niva fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miranda's protests and gave Vicente Niva a yellow card for diving instead. Vicente Niva hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Independiente Rivadavia's Jacobo Blasco got a free kick in the 38th minute. Haroldo Pacifico was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Ignacio Otsoa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ignacio Otsoa really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Haroldo Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Otsoa in the 43rd minute of play. Independiente Rivadavia's Ignacio Otsoa pulled a muscle in his back after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Omar Dominic fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miranda's protests and gave Omar Dominic a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Miranda fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Miranda:s Haroldo Pacifico showed great skill when he stopped Fermin Franco:s penalty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Ciriaco Aballe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Haroldo Pacifico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Aballe in the 61st minute of the match. When Ciriaco Aballe came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Independiente Rivadavia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Aballe couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Miranda's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Reno came free, but Haroldo Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo Pacifico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Aballe in the 75th minute of the match. Gustavo Liher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Farias in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Aballe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haroldo Pacifico. Miranda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciriaco Aballe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Ciriaco Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Haroldo Pacifico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Jacobo Blasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente Rivadavia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Blasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciriaco Aballe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Pacifico having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciriaco Aballe in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Pacifico saved Miranda from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Independiente Rivadavia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
