Spectators: 6666 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) The Arrecifes fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Arrecifes's Ermegildo Lucero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Cachivache F.C's Honorato Fernandez got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute of the match Arnoldo Ado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Epifanio Poncio skillfully saved the ball. Ermegildo Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, Arrecifes's Pablo Hug nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Epifanio Poncio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 21st match minute, Arrecifes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Ado to maneuver through the defense. Victoriano Leguizamón might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patricio Medardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victoriano Leguizamón ran back to his position shaking his head. If Victoriano Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 31 minutes, Amadeo Ofelio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cachivache F.C and the Arrecifes players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Victoriano Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victoriano Leguizamón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Patricio Medardo made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Cachivache F.C's zone, Evelio Tajo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Poncio came out of the goal and Evelio Tajo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Cachivache F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arrecifes were winning 0-3.

57 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Leguizamón came free, but Patricio Medardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Evelio Tajo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrecifes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evelio Tajo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cachivache F.C's Anastasio Incendio got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Ermegildo Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evelio Tajo in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Poncio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patricio Medardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Leguizamón, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Victoriano Leguizamón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Medardo came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Cachivache F.C's Victoriano Leguizamón. But to his dismay, Victoriano Leguizamón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Victoriano Leguizamón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Medardo having to interfere. Evelio Tajo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Epifanio Poncio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arrecifes's Ermegildo Lucero got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Evelio Tajo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Epifanio Poncio was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Epifanio Poncio made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Ermegildo Lucero sent off a good shot on target. The Cachivache F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arrecifes's performance. The match ended with a win for Arrecifes.
